A print that evolved from the preliminary sketches for the paintings ‘Sleeping Breath’, and ‘A Blue Bubble of Breath’ using a thin mixture of fine carborundum powder in medium as positive brushstroke marks on the printing plate. Each mark an exhaling breath, exhausting the paint on the brush as a sustained note starting as a shout and ending as a whisper, or as undertones ending in a fanfare-finale, from square to oblique beginnings and endings.
