Original artwork description
A nude figure in pensive thought which I have tried to encapsulate in this painting. I apply the acrylic paint in successive washes to achieve a soft structure and then overpaint some areas with a more opaque use of the pigments. Painted on a Studland board and should be framed under glass. The work was originally painted in 1982 and has had some revision in 2022.
