THE VIBRATION defies the weight of its material. Here, stone does not appear rigid and immobile, but surprisingly light—almost as if caught by a breath of wind. A subtle vibration runs through the form; lines stretch, and surfaces seem to come into motion.
This creates the impression of a flexibility that is actually foreign to stone. The hard appears soft, the solid almost ephemeral. The sculpture moves between stillness and motion and evokes a moment of wonder: where weight becomes lightness and stone seems almost to float.
