Vita

Danguole Serstinskaja is an internationally awarded contemporary artist from Lithuania, working across portrait, animal, symbolic, and expressive figurative subjects. Her practice includes oil dry brush on paper, acrylic on canvas, ink, pastel, and mixed media approaches. Her work is primarily focused on character, emotion, and visual presence, combining technical precision with a strong personal artistic language.

Serstinskaja has received 88 international art awards, including numerous First Place awards in international art competitions, the MASTERPIECE Winner 2018 title at the American Art Awards, and distinctions from the World Art Awards, American Art Awards, TERAVARNA, Mondial Art Academia, and other international juried competitions. Her artworks have been exhibited internationally, including at the prestigious Museo Tuscolano - Scuderie Aldobrandini in Italy. Her works have also been acquired by a gallery in Norway and are held in private collections worldwide.

Her artistic approach is rooted in careful observation, emotional depth, and expressive contrast. Whether portraying animals, human figures, or symbolic subjects, she seeks to capture the inner presence of the subject rather than decorative appearance alone.
