As long as I can remember, I had a passion for art - always had a drawing or a painting in progress, often scattered at the back of my notebooks. It wasn't always clear to me that art was what I should be doing for a living until later, after many years spent in academic research as an environmental economist.
I started taking a few evening art classes, which soon made me realize that expressing my inner visual images required a stronger foundation in drawing. As soon as I heard of The Florence Academy of Art opening a school in Sweden, I enrolled in their program. After studying for three years in figure drawing and painting at the Florence Academy of Art in Mölndal, I finally decided to dedicate myself entirely to art.
MY BACKGROUND
I was born in Transylvania, Romania, and since 1992, I have lived in Gothenburg, Sweden.
I am working and teaching classical drawing and painting techniques in my own atelier overlooking the water.
My artworks have found homes in many countries such as:: USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, Spain, and United Arab Emirates.
