Natali Part is an interdisciplinary artist based in Vorarlberg, Austria, working in the field of post-conceptual art.
Her practice explores the evolution of consciousness and the layered nature of identity through collage-like paintings, using book pages and other textual material and narrative framework.
Born in Leningrad (USSR) and raised in a Russian-Ukrainian family with a strong artistic heritage, Natali developed an early engagement with literature, dance and visual arts.
After completing her BA in Literature in Russia and South Korea (Keimyung University), she worked for a major Korean company in St. Petersburg, studied philosophy and world religions, and took part in various volunteer and charity projects across Russia and the USA. In 2003, she relocated to Austria, where a period of cultural displacement and social isolation led her return to artistic practice. Working with personal diaries and her own collection of books she developed her own visual language centered on fragmentation, connection and inner transformation.
